An Economy for the Next Generation

APRIL 26TH, 2023

One of the reasons I started this campaign was to help create a better Louisiana for my two young daughters’ generation. But with concerns about our education system, an unforgiving tax system, and an economy with all its eggs in one outdated basket, young people are leaving Louisiana in droves. Reports have shown Louisiana loses nearly 20% of the college graduates it produces and in the nine years following the end of The Great Recession, Louisiana’s GDP dropped 5.6 percent.

The way forward for our economy is simple. We must reverse course on our backward way of thinking and invest in our future. We must increase teacher pay rates, end the ban on ESG investing, and diversify our investments in a way that benefits quality of life for ALL Louisiana communities - not just the wealthy.

I have a history of helping Louisianans make smart moves with their money and want to do so for our entire state. Can you chip in today to help get the word out about my candidacy?
