LAKE CHARLES - Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards has announced his endorsement of Dustin Granger in the race for Louisiana Treasurer. Edwards' endorsement joins Louisiana Public Service Commissioner Davante Lewis, former U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu, the United Rural Democrats, and Civil Rights Activist and former US Senate candidate Gary Chambers, Jr.

“I am proud to support a leader so committed to a healthy workforce, a thriving economy, and investing in our future. Dustin Granger has the fiduciary expertise and character to effectively run Louisiana's Treasurer's office. His decades of experience helping Louisiana families manage money uniquely qualifies him for this job," said Governor Edwards. "I am confident that a Treasury Department overseen by Dustin will lead the state back to being the country's energy leader, investing in clean energies that will create sustainable, good-paying jobs for Louisianans and bolstering our economy."
