It’s Only Impossible, ‘Til It’s Not

APRIL 5TH, 2023

About 50 years ago they said we couldn’t put a man on the moon. In 1969 Neil Armstrong broke that record for the U.S. and successfully landed Apollo 11 on the moon, making it the first time a human would step foot there.

Fast forward about 50 years later, NASA announced just this week that it will be sending 4 astronauts on a spaceflight around the Moon next year. This is the first time humans have been to the moon’s surface since Neil Armstrong did so in 1969.

When starting my campaign to run for State Treasurer, the political class told me the progressive platform that I’m running on couldn’t be done. That diversifying away from Louisiana’s tradition of heavily investing our dollars into the oil and gas industries, couldn’t be done.

I’m choosing to run and lead my campaign for and with the visionaries, not the pundits.
